1977年出生于中国陕西,1999年毕业于北京大学信息管理系。

1999年大学毕业后,先后在当当网以及《新周刊》等公司任职,长期关注信息产

业及互联网的发展。

2004年,与大学室友邓裕强共同创办3G门户,首创中国手机免费互联网模式。

张向东先生主要负责公司市场及品牌发展与战略、投资者关系等方面的管理决策;在员工管理方面,为公司注入活力和信念,成为3G门户的精神性磁场。公司创立近7年来,张向东先生在不断推动公司发展的同时,亦对大互联网产业生态圈以及行业的商业模式都有着深刻的洞见,并著有《我 手机》和《创业者对话创业者》等书。与此同时,张向东先生还与友人共同创办了 “东西文库”,长期关注并推广网络时代中国新青年文化,取得了良好的社会反响。已出版《奇怪@壹》、《13亿》、《失控》等出版物。

2008年,张向东和邓裕强创立的3G门户被《福布斯》誉为“无线互联网的曙光”。

2009,张向东与程炳皓、王中军、李开复等人《时尚先生》评选为2009年度时尚

先生、并荣获年度IT人物。

2010年,张向东先生与李开复、韩寒、白岩松等人共同被《GQ》杂志评选为年度

人物。

Mr. Xiangdong Zhang received a Bachelor’s degree of Information Management at Peking University.

He used to work for “dangdang.com”and “News weekly” magazine after

graduation in 1999, and had a long-term interest in the development of information industry and the internet.

He founded 3G.CN with roommate Deng Yuqiang in 2004, created the first free Mobile Internet mode in China. As the largest portal website, 3G.CN has over 140 million cumulative registered users so far, and owns the most users in China Mobile Internet field. Meanwhile, it is the largest Mobile application service provider in China.

Mr.Zhang continues to promote the development of 3G.CN since it is founded.

He has profound insight in the Internet Industry and its business mode, and is the author of “My cellphone”and “The happening future—dialogue with entrepreneurs”.

Mr.Zhang established "EAST & WEST" library to share ideas with friends, which is committed to promote new Chinese youth culture the age of internet.

Mr.Zhang was selected as “person of the year” with Lee Kaifu, Han han, Bai

Yansong etc. by “GQ” magazine in 2010.
